5 Free Things You Can Do NOW To Build Wealth
Business owners and entrepreneurs often ask me how to build wealth in their businesses and lives. But when I give my answer I sometimes get some looks of surprise! Why?
Because most of us expect to hear about investment tips or money management strategies. And of course, these things are important. But in my experience, building wealth is about a lot more than just money.
I’ve always told people to be wealthy now and get “rich” later. What does that mean, exactly? This means making the INNER work of building wealth just as important as the outer strategies.

Here I’ll share 5 super-simple things to build wealth in your business. The best part is that all of them are free!
1-Visualize your desired lifestyle.
It might sound kind of cheesy, but believe me, visualization makes a huge difference. This is especially true when you allow yourself to embody the feelings that you want to feel. So take a few moments, get comfortable, put on some favorite music if you like, and dream big. Visualize and FEEL into the lifestyle you desire. Do this on a regular basis and watch what happens.
Pro tip: If you have trouble with visualization, that’s OK! Just allow yourself to feel the feelings that your desired lifestyle inspires. And, if you want some help with creating money and abundance meditation practice, my 7-Minute Money Mindset Reset is the perfect place to begin.
2-Have more meaningful financial conversations.
Don’t be afraid to talk about money! It’s the first step to getting comfortable with money, and from there improving your relationship with money. So get together with a friend, a family member, your partner, or a business bestie and get the conversation going.
Pro tip: Not sure how to even start the money conversation? Here I share 5 questions that every entrepreneur should ask about money. Check it out and use it to get the money talk started!
3-Create a budget for your business and life.
I know, I know. NOBODY seems to like making a budget. But the truth is that budgeting is simply money management. It’s allocating your resources to create the life that you desire. And if you do it right, it can create the space for you to grow into that life, one step at a time! So create your budget, and set an intention for it to grow to match your desires, NOT shrink to match your (perceived) limitations.
Pro Tip: No idea where to start budgeting? Here I break down how to create a budget without letting it turn into a bummer.
4-Increase your financial knowledge.
No matter how much you think you know about money, there’s always something new to learn. I’m always reading new books, listening to podcasts, and getting tips from the experts in all areas of money (including mindset). So keep learning!
Pro tip: I love reading books about money! One that I read recently that really resonated is called the “The Soul of Money” by Lynne Twist. It’s all about transforming your relationship with money, and I highly recommend it.
5-Try a new financial challenge.
What is a financial challenge? It’s a step that you take to expand your comfort zone. Think of it as a “workout” to help you improve your financial health (this includes your relationship with money, too!) It could be anything from setting a savings goal to going on a spending freeze. So pick a challenge, set a time frame, and jump in.
Pro tip: No idea where to start? Here I share a few financial challenges that you can try any time. Feel free to choose one that resonates with you and run with it.
So, wonder no more about how to build wealth in your business and life! Simply start where you are, and take it one step at a time with these simple (and FREE) strategies. Stay consistent, keep learning, and keep cultivating a beautiful relationship with money, and the rest will follow.
Now, what do you think? Which one of these steps are you going to try first? Let me know in the comments which one resonated with you the most!
Until next time,
Love, light, and MONEY, Honey…
